The new Mobius II is built for rugged roads to meet the demands of the African consumer
When Joel Jackson established the Mobius Motors in 2009, no one believed that the company's car would be sold in the country. However, the company has been able to build about 500 affordable and durable cars for the rugged African roads.
With the new Mobius II, which has a better driving experience entering the Kenyan market, the company is set to tackle popular foreign SUV vehicles, such as Nissan Dualis, Honda CRV, Mazda CX, and Toyota Rush.
Unlike the previous Mobius II, the new one has numerous benefits to the consumers. Some of the benefits are described below.
1. At the price of KES 1,300,000 ($US 1,300), the car is more affordable than imported cars, which have already been used in the foreign countries of origin. For example, a Nissan Dualis which has been used in a foreign country with a mileage of over 80,000 km costs about KES 1,400,000 ($US 1,300).
2. The robust tubular steel space-frame combined with a sealed solid rear axle that improves the center of gravity, and as such, it makes the car durable even when driving on rugged rural roads.
3. The spare parts of the car can be found in the big cities in the country. With more shops to be opened in more towns all over the country, it is going to be easy to maintain the car.
4. The ground clearance of 35 cm and the capability to handle 500kg because of a better suspension, the car is high enough to carry many people on rugged rural roads.
5. The car has been improved significantly and now has windows and doors to ensure that there is ample security. It now makes sense to leave valuable items in the car.
6. The car has essential features, such as air conditioner and infotainment system. For people who live in cold places, they may find it easier to keep warm in the car.
7. The car has an efficient engine which has16 valves and a VVT (Variable Valve Timing) to make it fuel economy while at the same time deliver power.
I believe that the new Mobius II will succeed in the Kenyan market, especially for those consumers that need a car with important features that include air conditioner, infotainment system, and closed doors for a better driving experienceFor more information, visit Mobius Motors
