History
This
lake is considered a small soda lake located in the eastern sweep of the Great
Rift Valley. The early colonial history of Kenya surrounds the lake because of
the role it played. This is also the estate and stronghold of Lord Delamere

The
lake like it counterpart Lake Nakuru attracts many visiting flamingo with
gazelle, zebra, eland and families of warthog grazing. It is also a nice place
for long walks and birding.
